Program Description

This program is tailored to address global customers’ specific needs in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
The focus of this program is on rotating equipment with particular emphasis on Centrifugal Pumps and Compressor Drive Trains; Positive Displacement Pump sets, Valves, Pulsation Dampers, Electric Motors, Diesel Engines and Steam Turbines; and associated equipment and systems.

By the end of this program you will have learned:

  • Detailed technical review, of a specific engineered pump unit, and its design
  • Specific installation and commissioning of the equipment, in relation to the surrounding plant operation, and related systems monitoring
  • Maintenance philosophy, covering criteria and influence parameters
  • Complete strip down and rebuild, including the specific criteria for component renewal
  • Detailed fault finding, including examination of equipment deterioration and the development of cost effective corrective measures
  • Operational problems with case studies, which will enable you to identify appropriate solutions
