Program Description

Process Automation is the know-how of using various control systems for operating equipment, such as machinery and robotics, processes in factories, boilers and heat treating units, and other applications, with minimal or reduced human intervention.
The Process Automation (PLC, DCS, and SCADA) Program covers all the important aspects related to this subject. The starting point is PLC Programming, followed by PAC Programming, with multitasking examples, and Multilanguage used for different typical applications, based on ISO88/99 Standards. Human Interface design is covered from simple to complex, multiple screens and animation, including faceplates and PLANT PAX, setup, and implementation of the View Anywhere concept. The trainees also learn about the Horizontal integration based on real time, deterministic networks and the vertical integration using specialized data logger and report generating systems, with recommendation for optimization during normal and abnormal operation, circumstantial parameters.

  • How to Integrate a Real Time Distributed System-access control, PID and PIDE close loop control for diverse applications.
