Program Description

The aim of this program is to review and redefine the role of maintenance and maintenance management functions. To examine all aspects affecting maintenance program in order to establish a more efficient and cost-effective maintenance department. The participants will get exposed to some new maintenance concepts, also small group workshops will be conducted to get participants acquainted with how to plan, organise, direct and control maintenance program in their workplace.

By the end of this program you will:

  • Understand how to develop a framework of maintenance strategies and establish a maintenance plan
  • Understand the relationship and effects of maintenance within a company
  • Understand basic maintenance concepts of run-to-failure, schedule stoppages, reliability centered maintenance, and preventive maintenance
  • Learn about benefits of computerized maintenance management systems and how to computerize an existing preventive and predictive maintenance program
  • Have an insight into methods and techniques for estimating work order labour requirements
  • Have an insight into the importance function of the Maintenance Storeroom
  • Understand how to apply a Computer Maintenance Management process, by following and implementation strategy
